How CBSE 10TH Percentage Is Calculated 2022

On March 11, 2022, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) issued the CBSE class 10 Term 1 result 2022. Only the official websites cbse.gov.in and cbseresults.nic.in will have the results. There will be no negative marking in CBSE Term 1 exam 2021-22, according to the board. The CBSE Term 1 results will have a minimum weightage of 50% in the final result. Internal assessment marks from various disciplines provided to students by schools will be included in the Term 1 grades. It should be noted that the CBSE Term 1 result 2022 will not include a pass/fail or essential repeat status. The final CBSE class 10 result will be computed by averaging Term 1 and Term 2 results.

Important Information About the CBSE Grading System

Students will require qualifying grades in four of the five topics to move to the next class under the nine-point scale grading system. According to CBSE, pupils’ mark papers would not have a pass or fail inscribed on them. Students will have four chances to improve their results within two years of their exam. The following are the key points to remember about the CBSE grading system:

  • Minor changes in the proportion of candidates will be made to adjust ties.
  • In the event of a tie, all students with the same score will receive the same grade.
  • If the number of students at a given score point must be separated into two groups, the smaller group will be combined with the bigger.
  • In subjects with more than 500 candidates who passed, a different grading method will be applied.
  • In topics where the total number of candidates passing is fewer than 500, grading will be based on the pattern of grading and distribution used in other similar subjects.

The Benefits and Drawbacks of the CGPA System

Please explain the benefits and drawbacks of CGPA in schooling. What is its application? Is it an unavoidable tool for evaluating a student’s success in school? And there’s a lot more.

The Benefits of CGPA

Students can assess, calculate, and improve their strengths and weaknesses.

The nicest thing about CGPA is that it relieves the pressure of getting high scores because the actual marks are not included in the outcome.

CGPA disadvantages

The CGPA does not reflect the pupils’ actual grades or performance.

Because of the grading system, kids tend to perform poorly because they know they will receive the desired mark even if they make a few mistakes.

CBSE class 10 pass percentage

In CBSE class 10, the minimum passing mark is 33% of the total marks. As a result, the passing grade will be 13 out of 40. As a result, a student must obtain at least 13 points in the Term 2 exam.
