  3. Fill in the form below to link your Aadhar Card to your application (this is mandatory).

  5. Click the ‘Save’ button to save your PMAY application.

How Much PMAY Subsidy Can You Claim?

The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana offers up to Rs.2.67 Lakh in house loan subsidies. Your subsidy amount is determined by your income category and the total carpet area of your new home. 

What you should know:

  1. You can earn a 6.5 per cent credit-linked subsidy on a housing loan up to Rs.6 lakh if you are EWS or LIG. 
  2. The carpet area of the property you acquire should be 30 square metres for EWS applicants and 60 square metres for LIG applicants.
  3. The MIG I category offers a 4% credit-linked discount on housing loans up to Rs.9 lakh. This discount is available for homes with a carpet size of 160 square metres.
  4. The MIG II category offers a 3% credit-linked subsidy on housing loans up to Rs.12 lakh. This discount applies to homes with carpet areas of 200 square metres or more.

What are the CLSS Scheme Benefits?

The housing loan subsidy scheme has the following benefits:

  • The subsidised interest rate on house loans is up to a certain amount.
  • The subsidy is put directly into your account. As a result, both your principal and EMI are reduced.
  • Your loan can be extended up to 20 years.
  • The loan amount is unlimited. If the amount exceeds the limits, the lender’s usual interest rate will apply.
