  • Candidates planning to apply for the NDA exam must have studied Physics and Mathematics in class 10th and must have secured a minimum of 60% marks in PCM in the 12th board.
  • For the Army Wing of National Defense Academy: Candidates must have a 10th class pass certificate from a recognized Board or University.
  • For the 12 Cadet Entry Scheme in the Air Force and Naval Wing of the National Defense Academy and Indian Naval Academy: Candidates must have passed the 12th examination in the 10+2 pattern of school education or its equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by the State Education Board OR Must be equivalent. university.

  • The minimum and maximum age limit to apply is 16.5 to 19 years.

Physical Fitness

Stages of the NDA Selection Process

NDA Selection Process: Written Exam

The NDA written exam is of 900 marks and questions are asked from two subjects – Mathematics and General Aptitude. The time limit given to complete the exam is 180 minutes which consists of objective-type questions. Only qualified candidates will be eligible to appear for the interview which consists of a Psychological Aptitude Test and an Intelligence or Personality Test.

 

NDA Selection Process: SSB Interview

Candidates who obtain the minimum required cutoff marks in the written test will be invited to participate in the SSB interview round. In the SSB interview round, the candidates will be assessed on the officer’s ability. SSB interview round is divided into two different tests, which include the Psychological Aptitude Test and Intelligence Test.
