Sustainable Development – The new future of business

There was a time when companies and manufacturing units just burnt the fossil fuels as much as they wanted. They released all the hazardous smoke up in the air and all the toxic wastes in the river. So without any hesitation, we can blame our past generations for the toxic environment they have created for us to live in. We can definitely blame them for the hazardous AQI, scarcity of drinkable water and the heat we have to bear because of the rise in climate temperature. The way we are blaming our past generations, are we also going to be blamed by the upcoming generations? Maybe, no.

Lately, companies and governments have acknowledged the damage humans have done to nature. They have come up with policies to mitigate the damages done and develop sustainably. Sustainable development means using natural resources wisely so that we do not damage our pretty beautiful earth and also making this world liveable for future generations as well. And therefore companies are obliged to work in a way that does minimum or no damage to nature. While companies have reduced pollution to a great level, the most important step in recent times to grow sustainably is switching from fossil-fuelled vehicles to electric vehicles.

Recently we saw TVS acquiring a 75% stake of SEMG (Swiss e-Mobility Group) worth $100 Million and a couple of months ago it had acquired EGO movement at $17.9 million for 80% shares. We can realize by this the efforts leading companies are making towards sustainable development. Not only TVS, but every automobile company all around the world like Tesla, TATA, Ola, Toyota and every company you can name are also moving towards electric mobility. A huge proportion of new entrepreneurs are also entering this segment.

The damage to the environment can also be minimised at individual levels. But if you want to contribute directly to the betterment of the environment, you can choose a career like an environmental engineer, hydrologist, biochemist, environmental scientist, etc. There are plenty of courses available for these industries in India and abroad. You can obtain your university transcripts like DU transcript, MU transcript or Pune university transcript, MoI certificate and other required documents, study in foreign institutes and work for the environment there as well. A career in this field has great opportunities across the globe as we can see no country has left exploiting the resources they have.

In the past few decades, we have seen a rise in tertiary sector businesses. We can see the service sectors growing rapidly and that requires a well-built infrastructure for smooth operation. This has increased the use of electricity, air conditioners, refrigerators and urban population density. CFC from offices, CO from power plants, etc. have become major contributors to pollution in recent times. But the good news is that environmentalists have devised better technology to produce electricity that can meet every company’s power requirement. One of those techniques is electricity through solar panels. The Chennai railway station is a fully solar-powered infrastructure and runs its 100 per cent day operation through solar energy. And many such more infrastructures are relying completely on solar energy and this is what I call a beautiful pollution-free future.

So, you can now have a brief idea of where to invest or set up your business to earn maximum profit without hurting our mother nature. Develop electricity-based or solar-powered mobility solutions, venture into solar panel retailing and related business. You will grow professionally as well as help your children breathe cleaner air. If you have any idea and want to develop your product do that. We will help you get your transcript certificate, be it a Pune university transcript or Anna University transcript. Go abroad, and get the best education where you learn the most advanced solar or electric mobility solution or anything that can reduce pressure on nature. Apply that knowledge in your profession and your business. And when we see more people like you working for themselves as well as mother earth, we will be assured this world and future generation is in safe hands. What other businesses can you think of that can help us with sustainable development?
