Assessment outcome: 

The assessment authority will issue your assessment outcome in a formal letter via mail in PDF format. Every successful assessment letter is valid for 24 months from the issue date. It can be submitted to the Department of Home Affairs as proof of your skills assessment. 

Any unsuccessful assessment will note the reasons for the outcomes and information about the Review/Appeal Process in the letter. 

Renewals and re-application: 

If your initial assessment expires, you have to reapply using a New Application. You can submit this new application through the Online Application Portal by logging into the Dashboard. 

Remember when lodging a new application, any new documents have to be renamed to differentiate from the previously provided documents.

Payment proof: Bank statements, payslips, taxation records, insurance, and superannuation records and so on. 

RPL Form if without qualification

Useful tips to write an excellent RPL ACS report: 

  1. Determine and identify the Area of Knowledge topics that you have picked. For that, put the name of the Area of Knowledge topic in the box. 
  2. Explain, in the expandable typing area, the way you have attained the knowledge. Besides that, illustrate the depth of that knowledge and skill. 
  3. Be clear and concise in your explanation. 
  4. Limit each explanation to no more than one to one and a half pages. 
  5. Don’t address all subtopics included in the Area of Knowledge in your explanation. In fact, address at least two of the subtopics. Put the subtopic names in the box.
