Who is Shujaat Saudagar, director of ‘Bambai Meri Jaan’?
Shujaat Saudagar is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and producer. He is known for directing the critically acclaimed film Rock On 2 (2016) and the upcoming crime drama web series Bambai Meri Jaan (2023).
He was born in Goa, India, in 1975. He studied film at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in Pune. After graduating from FTII, Saudagar worked as an assistant director on several films, including the cult classic Pardes (1997).
He made his directorial debut with the short film Bali (2005), which won the Best Film Award at the Indian Television Academy Awards.
