We putty until the sweat drips:
Spartling is not an easy task to tackle if you have not tried it before. Likewise, it is quite hard work to fully fill. However, we have a penchant for putty and are therefore happy to help you, no matter how many walls you would like us to putty.
Why putty?
Are you going to start a major renovation in the living room? Do you have any walls that look tired? Or should it all just have a makeover? It’s nice to renew, but do you think at the same time why wall plastering is really necessary? And whether it’s not really just a waste of money?
Spalling of walls and other surfaces is basically a cosmetic exercise. For it is meant to give your walls a neat and monotonous surface that is smooth. This is done before painting or wallpapering. You can easily do without a round of professional spalling. The result, however, is simply that it is going to look sloppy and very unfinished, as the walls will by no means be slippery to look at.
Therefore, if you want your walls to be neat and nice to look at – and that it is pure peace of mind – you should start plastering walls and other surfaces before you start painting or wallpapering.
Spalling walls is something you can easily do yourself. However, if you do not have prior experience with it, it can be an advantage to leave the work to a professional company like us, which has it on its backbone and thus can ensure a nice and even result.
What is a full spall?
Full putty is something we and our painters naturally also offer as a fixed service. When walls or ceilings are fully filled, we do that we smooth an uneven surface out to an even surface using putty. This is done on the entire ceiling or the entire wall and is thus not only performed on a small part of the wall.
It is ideal for new walls or walls where new wallpaper needs to be put on – or the wallpaper needs to be removed to get a smooth and plastered wall instead. Once done, the wall or ceiling can be painted after sanding and priming with anchoring primers.
Do you have something that needs to be fully filled? Or are you in doubt about whether it is necessary to start a full spall? Then you are more than welcome to reach out to us. Because then we take a quiet talk with you and find out what is the right thing to do in your particular situation.
What does spalling cost?
We understand that you are asking. Fortunately, it is not the most expensive item on the budget, unless you expect to have all the walls in the house or home plastered. Depending on the task, it costs somewhere between 125-150 DKK per. square meters depending on whether you also need to have felt set up.
However, we will not dwell on the price, as there are many different factors that have an impact on the price when it comes to spalling. If you would like a specific price, please feel free to contact us with the details. Then we find out what it takes, how many painters we need to get started, and how extensive the task is. Then we are happy to prepare an offer at a fixed price, so you have something very concrete to go for.
Also remember that we also like to come out in connection with moving out of an apartment. If you have a dog that has not been so cute by the walls, we can fix it in an afternoon or two and make sure that the apartment appears neat when there is a moving view.
We are happy to come out for a free inspection before we plaster your walls:
Some tasks are easier to come up with an offer or an estimate of when we know exactly what we are dealing with. This applies to both the surfaces and the materials, just as it is easier to assess the extent.
A free inspection is a regular part of our service, which we often use in order to provide our customers with the best possible service and treatment. Because when we know exactly what we are dealing with, and what you thus also need, it is easier for us to estimate both price and time.
You should like to be satisfied all the way around. You will only be if you are treated professionally from start to finish.
Although we are based in Copenhagen, we drive out for inspections and tasks all over Zealand. This applies to the east, west, north and south. We have a large team of painters who are more than ready to help you get some beautiful walls and ceilings back.
