How Traveling is changed for Humans after Covid-19?

The government approves the new decree which introduces a “double regime” between those who are vaccinated or cured and those who have chosen not to get immunized. And it closes the possibility of accessing recreational activities to no vexes.

The provision comes into force on December 6 and will be valid until January 15, 2022.

The most important change concerns rail transport and local public transport because it will be mandatory to have at least the swab with negative results.

In the white area, the mask is mandatory only indoors, while in the yellow, orange and red areas it is mandatory outdoors and indoors. In all areas it is always mandatory to carry it with you and wear it in case of potential gatherings or crowds.

The decree provides for a new system to strengthen controls: “Within 3 days from the entry into force of the provision, the Prefects hear the Provincial Order and Security Committee, within 5 days they adopt the new control plan involving all the police forces, reporting periodically”. In this way we try to strengthen the checks by the managers of the premises, but above all by the police and therefore the algorithm of the App C 19 which validates the green pass will also be modified.

The green pass doubles:

From now on there will be two green passes. One, “strengthened”, is released to vaccinated or cured people, another, “base”, is released to anyone who undergoes a molecular or antigenic swab. The “strengthened” green pass is valid for nine months from the last administration of the vaccine or from the certificate of recovery. The “basic” green pass is valid for 72 hours if issued with negative molecular buffer, 48 hours if issued with negative antigenic buffer. The “strengthened” green pass is already valid in the white zone and does not include the restrictions of the yellow and orange zones. For More Blogs Click here

Restrictions only in the red zone:

The system of dividing by color bands remains in force, but those who have the “strengthened” green pass do not have to respect the restrictions set out in the yellow and orange zones. We enter the yellow band with 50 weekly cases per 100 thousand inhabitants, 15% of places occupied in the medical area, 10% of places occupied in intensive care. We enter the orange range with 150 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, 30% in the medical area and 20% in intensive care. You enter the red band with more than 150

Hotels in the white area:

To enter the hotels also in the white zone, it will be necessary to show the “basic” green pass and therefore have a molecular swab with negative result (valid for 72 hours) or antigenic swab with negative result (valid for 48 hours).

Inside the facilities, the basic green pass will be needed to access the restaurants, but only for those staying in the swimming pools, gyms, spas and changing rooms. At the moment, no further restrictions have been envisaged for those arriving from abroad but the government is evaluating border control measures for those coming from countries where the number of infections is high.

The rules remain the same for those who go abroad and therefore it will be necessary to check the restrictions adopted by each country and always fill in the PLF (Passenger Locator Form) mandatory for all passengers arriving in Italy, by any means of transport, before entering in the national territory.
The Covid Free tourist corridors remain in force for the following destinations: Aruba, Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles, Dominican Republic, Egypt (limited to the tourist areas of Sharm El Sheikh and Marsa Alam).

Tests for traveling:

To travel on high-speed trains and airplanes, you just need the “basic” green pass, then have a molecular swab with a negative result (valid for 72 hours) or an antigenic swab with a negative result (valid for 48 hours).
The decree introduces the same obligation for other means of transport. For Visa Advice Click here
