  • UPSC CSE (Civil Services Exam) The most popular and is also known by the name of (IAS Coaching in Delhi)
  • UPSC CDS (Combined Defence Services) This test is given by officers who want for a job in organizations like the Indian Military, Navy and Airforce as well as other organisations.

What can we learn about the meaning of UPSC ?

(UPSC) Union Public Service Commission is the leading recruiting agency of India which is responsible for conducting various exams to determine the candidates of candidates for the All-India Administrative Services of Group A and Group B. UPSC recruits’ candidates for both civil service as well as defence services.

What is a civil service test?

It’s among the most difficult tests in the nation, but do not worry, if you have the right plan and clear strategy then you’ll be able to get through the test and make your goals become reality! !

Although CSE is a well-known test to recruit candidates for 24 top government agencies , such for IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS etc, but it is still called the “IAS exam”.

What is the way in which the test is run?

Let’s dive into little depth…….
UPSC Journey is a one-year race. The test is completed in three phases: MAINS, PRELIMINARY as well as INTERVIEW The entire process could take between 10 and 12 months (usually from June month of the year until the end of June in the following year and they will announce the result announced) to be completed.

Stage1 Tests for PRELIMINARY:

Exam Preliminary consists of two papers that are required and each has 200 marks. The questions in both papers are comprised of a multi-choice purpose.

General Studies Paper-I

  • The book contains 100 questions that cover the following topics, offering as much as 200 points that must be answered within two hours.

General Studies Paper-II/ CSAT

  • It consists of 80 questions based on the following subjects, with the maximum score of 200 questions to be answered within two hours.

The General Studies Paper II of the Civil Services (Preliminary) Exam is a qualifying test with the minimum marks for qualifying set at 33 percent.

The scores from the initial exam aren’t used to determine your final score, but it’s only a qualification and will assist you in advancing to the next stage.

Stage 2 Examination of MAINS

The main test to be taken by the UPSC was designed to gauge the level of understanding among candidates, not the amount of their memory and knowledge.

The structure and the structure of the problems in General Studies Papers (Paper II through Paper V) are designed so that a person with a degree can solve these questions without needing special research.

Civil Services Main Examination consists of the following examinations and are divided into two categories: qualifying papers and the papers that will be used to determine the level of excellence.

Examiner’s Syllabus UPSC Main Exam Papers

The written test consists of the following types of questions:

Qualifying Papers

Paper A 300 Marks

  • The language that is an Indian Language to be selected by the candidate from the Languages mentioned in the 18th Schedule in the Constitution.

Paper B 300 marks

  • English

The papers that are to be weighed to evaluate their value:

Paper I 250 Marks

  • Essay: Candidates may be asked to write essays on a variety of topics.

Paper-II: General Studies-I: 250 Marks

  • Indian Heritage and Culture, Geography and History of the World and Society.

Paper-III: General Studies -II: 250 Marks

  • Governance and Constitution Polity and Social Justice and international relations

Paper-IV: General Studies -III: 250 Marks

  • Bio-diversity and Technology for Economic Development Environmental, Disaster Management and Security.

Paper-V: General Studies -IV: 250 Marks

  • Integrity, Integrity, and Ethics Aptitude This exam will include questions to assess the candidates’ attitude and attitudes to questions related to integrity, public integrity, and his approach to solving the diverse conflicts and problems which he will have to deal with in dealing with society.

Paper VII and Paper (Optional subjects)

Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Dogri, Nepali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Punjabi, Kashmiri, Konkani, Santhali, Maithili, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Sanskrit, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu and English.

STAGE 3. INTERVIEW

  • After passing the two previous phases, the applicant is entering the third stage of the test …….
  • This test is not only a test of the intellect however, it also evaluates the social characteristics and enthusiasm of applicants with regard to current developments. The criteria to evaluate include the ability to think critically, of assimilation, clear and rational reasoning, balance of judgement diversification and depth of interest ability to lead, cohesion within society as in addition to moral and intellectual integrity.
