For every 7000 to 8000 students sitting for entrance exams which are conducted throughout the nation , among them only 2000 students get a chance to get admitted in government medical Colleges and among them only 250 students get a scholarship. So, if you want to study MBBS by getting a scholarship , go for some other country to do MBBS.

Higher investments

In Nepal there are 20 private medical colleges ,2 government colleges and 2 autonomously operated medical Colleges. With this information it is clear that there are more number of Private Colleges when compared to autonomous and government colleges in Nepal. That makes private medical colleges dominate the medical community and hence, students have to do high investments. On an average for the MBBS program in the private colleges around 55 lakhs excluding other extra fee such as registeration fee, exam fee, form fee, etc . And this expenses make it to the round up to 60 lakhs which is really a very big investment .

Very poor Installment Structure

Nepal offers you with a very poor Installment Structure. The universities only provides you with two installments and as we know that on an average the fees of one student is 60 lakh and for a student who belong from a low financial background whereas when compared to countries like Bangladesh, China, Russia and Pakistan which have easy installments.

Extra Donation Charges

Despite of higher cost for the medical seat, the private colleges also charge students with less grades 5 to 10 lakhs extra fee for the confirmation of medical seat. These charges can be a deal breaker for the students who are struggling from economic crisis .
